Rice Lake Weighing SURVIVOR® ATV All-Terrain Portable Vehicle Scale

Fully electronic, the portable SURVIVOR® ATV vehicle scale is designed for heavy-duty weighing in virtually any location a permanent installation isn’t practical. Our patented G-Force™ mounting system’s self-checking design controls loading forces, allowing faster processing and extending component life.

Versatile and cost-effective, the RLWS ATV’s self-contained live modules and floating center modules make it easy to add or remove sections to fit your application requirements.

The ATV Heavy-Duty Top Access Portable features top access to load cells, self-seating hinge connectors, and dedicated transient protection components in each J-box greatly simplifying installation and routine maintenance.

The ATV also incorporates an exclusive lock-out system that removes all weight from the load cells, suspending the deck free of links to avoid damage to electronics while transporting the scale.

The ATV-SR Super Duty Siderail Portable is ideal for weighing tri- and quad-axle dump trucks in pits and quarries. The siderail design features side access to load cells and electronics.

 

Standard bulkheads are heavily braced for high-compression backfilling with gravel or aggregate. In semi-permanent applications, choose from optional steel ramps or bulkheads for concrete approaches.

The ATV is rigidly constructed for heavy-duty weighing, yet lightweight and compact for convenient portability. The preassembled modules (available in lengths from 10 – 30 ft.) and unique self-seating hinge connectors provide easy installation, expansion and relocation for your growing business. The ATV boasts more steel, the strongest weighbridge and higher quality construction for long-lasting durability and performance. Standard end-cleanout eases debris removal to help maintain scale accuracy.

SURVIVOR ATV Series truck scales are designed to accommodate up to 250 trucks per day for 25 years without weighbridge fatigue. This is equivalent to more than 2 million weighments.

Each load cell has an individual capacity of 75,000 pounds, compared to only 50,000 pounds on many competitive models. Higher capacity load cells handle heavier loads with far fewer failures. Wire-braided copper transient bypass cables are provided at each load cell mount for individual load cell protection from direct lightning strikes to the scale or weighbridge.

All Rice Lake truck scales are equipped with RLWS patented G-Force self-checking mount system. With the G-force design, there are no bumper bolts to work loose, or check rods to bind the scale. Excess movement and scale wear are eliminated by turning 100% of the gravity force from the loading action against itself, instantly returning the scale to dead center without check rods and bumper bolts.
